Basic Requirements for All Volunteers
All volunteer opportunities require SOFA status and access to USAG Humphreys. We welcome service members, dependents, DoD civilians, contractors, and other SOFA-sponsored individuals who are committed to Rootline's values of inclusion, integrity, and community-centered design.
Lead or Co-Lead a Circle
Circle Leaders create consistent, values-aligned spaces where people find belonging, explore interests, develop skills, or make an impact. This isn't about being perfect—it's about showing up with care and commitment.

Time Commitment
Minimum 6 months. 3-5 hours monthly including event planning, hosting, and reporting.

What You'll Do

Host 1-2 monthly gatherings or activities for your Circle community

Work with a Co-Lead to ensure continuity and shared responsibility

Submit monthly reports and coordinate with the Circle Director

Create welcoming, inclusive environments where everyone feels valued

Facilitate Workshops & Sessions
Share your expertise by leading workshops, teaching skills, or facilitating meaningful discussions. Perfect for busy schedules or those who prefer project-based involvement.

Flexible and project-based. 1-3 hours for sessions plus 1-2 hours of prep and coordination.
